Beginning/Intermediate Tap

March 30 - April 13, 2025 (3 weeks)
Sundays 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM / $45
Maximum 10 students------Ages 16 +


Learn the foundations of tap dance including flaps, shuffles, broadways, and more in this class designed for those new to tap or with 1-2 years of experience. Students will work on musicality, rhythm, and proper tap technique in an encouraging environment. Lace up full sole tap shoes (or tennis shoes) recommended.

Open Level Jazz

March 30 - April 13, 2025 (3 weeks)
Sundays 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM / $45
Maximum 10 students------Ages 16 +


Get your body moving in this upbeat all levels jazz dance class! We will start with a full body warm up including stretching and strengthening, practice technique in across the floor exercises, and end by learning a piece of choreography created with options to fit every dancer.

Intermediate/Advanced Tap

March 30 AM - April 13, 2025 (3 weeks)
Sundays 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM / $45
Maximum 10 students------Ages 16 +


Grow your knowledge of tap steps and practice new rhythms in this tap dance class designed for dancers with a few years of experience. Class will focus on musicality, flexibility and adaptability of tap steps, and technique to improve speed and accuracy.

All classes are at Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State Street in Lake Oswego.


Refund Policy: Full refunds will be given up until 3 weeks before a class begins minus a $10.00 administrative fee. From 3 weeks to the first day a 75% refund will be given. No refunds given after the 1st day.
