Beginning Ballet for Teens (ages 14-18)

Tuesdays (8 weeks)
April 14 - June 2, 2026

6:30 - 7:30 PM ----- Tuition: $120

This class is designed for students who are new to ballet or looking to improve their beginning ballet technique. Dancers will be introduced to the fundamentals of ballet, including proper alignment, posture and basic positions of the feet and arms.

Through structured barre and center work, students will develop strength, flexibility, coordination and musicality in a supportive and encouraging environment. Emphasis is placed on correct technique, body awareness and confidence, making this an ideal class for beginners or returning to dance.

Dress code: Girls: Pink Ballet tights and a leotard of any color. Ballet slippers required. Hair should be secured back in a bun for class. No jewelry with the exception of stud earrings.
Boys: White shirt and black athletic pants/shorts, black ballet slippers

All classes are at Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State Street in Lake Oswego.


Refund Policy: Full refunds will be given up until 3 weeks before a class begins minus a $10.00 administrative fee. From 3 weeks to the first day a 75% refund will be given. No refunds given after the 1st day.
