Ready to sharpen your dancing skills? Prepare for your next musical theater dance audition with this practical workshop! Learn how to enter the room with confidence, gain tangible techniques to help you learn choreography and perform well quickly, and leave with an individualized audition plan you can customize and use. We will begin with a mock audition, and then follow with practical applications of the tips provided to cultivate and build your skills. The workshop will end with a second mock audition to allow you to practice using some of the techniques discussed. Come ready to dance!
All information will be presented in one workshop. However, participants may sign up for multiple workshops for additional practice and the choreography will be new for each session.

A Zoom acting class with a focus on skills for film and theatre. With the atmosphere of a "company of players," you'll work on scenes and monologues, inspired by the instructor's coaching and direction, and there will be the benefit of having the recording to learn from each week. Requirement: Students will need a strong wi-fi connection and be sure to download the Zoom app. Contact Nancy with any questions. Professional Actors Class - IN PERSON

An ongoing in-depth class for actors who want to master their craft while preparing themselves for auditions and work. Students work on scenes, monologues, auditions, and storytelling, with a teacher who brings decades of experience in the professional world of New York and Hollywood. Playing With Shakespeare

Calling all teen dancers! Try a new set of dance skills this summer with a 10 day choreography intensive. This two week camp is for the dancer that is ready to discover their individual and unique artistry, tell a story through dance and explore the creative process. Choreography is about more than just a sequence of steps. It is about musicality, storytelling and so much more. During these 10 days, dancers will be introduced to the basics of dance composition, and create and produce a show together to be performed on the last day.

Everyone has an amazing family history - but most have no clue how truly remarkable it is, because they have never investigated the generations going far, far back in time. Led by a genealogist and author of 4 family histories, as well as the book Digging for Ancestral Gold, The Fun and Easy Way to Get Started on Your Genealogy Quest. This workshop inspires you to embark on a quest for your ancestral heritage and guides you through the steps to get you started. For those with Beginning to Intermediate experience. Bring your family histories and your questions.

Six weeks of one-week sessions for this popular program! Children will step into the world of creating, designing and making their own show from pure imagination. Through games, play, art, music and dance, students will create an exciting show. Remember to bring a snack and get ready to have a wonderful time.

Shining Stars offers 2 exciting two-week programs which provides students with an opportunity to explore all areas of Musical Theater and culminates in a production of Frozen Kids and Pirates!, The Musical The Shining Stars experience offers young actors the chance to learn more about the stage and be a part of a live theatre production. Areas of study include: Auditioning, Staging, Character Development, Vocal Techniques, Creative Dramatics, Direction, Improvisation & Evaluation. These workshops challenge young actors and are leveled for everyone from beginners to experienced thespians.
Session #1Frozen Kids is an adaptation of the 2018 Broadway musical, which was based on the 2013 Walt Disney Animation. The production features all of the songs from the animated film including "Love Is an Open Door," "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?," and "Let It Go."
Session #2Pirates!, The Musical There's a stowaway on board! Perhaps the King of the High "Cs" will know what to do. Join this salty crew of colorful scallywags when Bluebeard, Yellowbeard, Whitebeard, Purplebeard - well, you get the picture - along with the No Beards hoist the Jolly Roger and set sail for a mighty adventure.
